Validity of Conductor’s License

The validity of a newly issued Conductor’s License (CL) extends for five years, calculated from the date of birth of the license holder, unless it is revoked or suspended earlier. If the CL holder maintains a clean record with no violations during these five years leading up to its expiration, they are eligible to renew their license. This renewed license will then be valid for an extended period of ten (10) years.

A Conductor’s License is a special permit that bus conductors must have to work legally in the Philippines. If you’re interested in obtaining this type of license, you need to visit your nearest LTO office and submit your requirements. Getting a Conductor’s License involves taking a written exam and a practical test, which will assess your knowledge and skills as a conductor.

Renewing your license is also a must, and it’s important to note that the validity of your license depends on LTO regulations. Once you have your Conductor’s License, it’ll be easier for you to work in the public transportation sector, and you’ll have peace of mind knowing that you’re operating within the law.
