Talisay City will soon have an international port which is valued at 10 Billion PHP. Last November 20, 2018, a ground-breaking ceremony was held to announce the construction of the said project.
As part of President Duterte’s Build, Build, Build program, this new container port in Cebu City makes it an even exciting news with so many developments happening in this region.
New International Container Port in Talisay City, Cebu
The Cebu South Harbor and Container Terminal Corporation (CSHCTC) will be heading the construction of the new international port which will be located at the fishport in Barangay San Roque, Talisay City.
It will comprise a 24-hectare high-tech facility that will act as an entry for international cargo ships which will also help the export and impor trade in the region.
Once completed, the port will carry bulk cargo shipments and container operations.

The Cebu South Harbor & Container Terminal Corporation will begin the construction of the container terminal port by 2019. Target completion will be on the 2nd quarter of 2022.
